This award show was created for Black Entrepreneurs by a Black Entrepreneur! Our goal is to create a space for the overlooked Black business owners in the Midwest. Nominees are voted by the people. We believe that through education and the power of social media; any brand has the potential to be the next million dollar brand! We could all stand to improve in some areas BUT Black Excellence does exist!
What to expect at the awards gala
Rather you purchase general admission or chose our VIP Experience, you're guaranteed an exquisite night of Black Excellence! The attire for this event is FORMAL BLACK TIE! Every ticket holder is treated to a 3-Course dinner, the sounds of DJ Bishop V-Luv, beautiful ambiance by Madam Founder herself, Kidada Miller. Our hilarious host from last year Efrem Evans will be our Emcee for the evening. You will enjoy Mrs. Meiaka Soulful Songbird with her rendition of the Black National Anthem. For 2025 we've added a phenomenal panel discussion with some of the top Entrepreneurs in the area. as well as a live African dance performance! This will be the evening where Luxury and Black Excellence meet!
THE VIP EXPERIENCE
Upon arrival, you will walk our REAL red carpet while being interviewed by our host​. At the door, our Ushers will show you to registration where you will be checked in and given your FREE drink ticket. They then will show you to the VIP space where you will be greeted with a champagne wall and taken back by the soulful sounds of Bell Darris on violin! Delectable
hors d'oeuvres will be displayed for you you to enjoy before heading to your seated 3 course dining experience and awards show.
